Exploring the notion of alienation through the lens of the American Civil War, Soil is constructed of natural elements, such as trees, leaves, wind and rocks; abstractions thereof forming the central visual thrust of the piece. 

The film has been shown in international art & film festivals including Sónar and RESFEST (18 cities around the world).

The film has previously been exhibited and/or shown at CCCB, Sketch, The Institute of Contemporary Arts, Whitechapel Gallery and Here Arts Center.
